The GEUS Board of Trustees has approved a rate change effective October 2025. This is the first rate change since October 2020, when GEUS reduced rates by 6%, and the first increase in rates since 2014.
GEUS conducts a rate study every 5 years or as needed. During this rate study it was determined that this change was needed to improve fixed cost recovery, meet revenue requirements, and meet required financial metrics.
Approved Rate Summary:
- GEUS will increase base rates by 5% at the system level starting October 1, 2025.
- GEUS will discontinue the winter rate differential beginning October 1, 2025.
